Glenn Orsmond has nearly 30-years’ experience in the aviation sector, including serving as CEO and Financial Director for two JSE-listed airlines.
He held the position of Financial Director at Comair, from 1995 to 2003, playing a key role in in introducing the British Airways franchise to South Africa in 1996, the successful listing of Comair Limited on the JSE (JSE: COM) and the launch of kulula.com, South Africa’s first low-fare airline in 2001.
Effective 31 July 2019, Glenn assumed the role of Joint CEO and Executive Director at Comair (JSE:COM). Before joining Comair again, he held the position of CFO at Star Air Cargo, an MRO, as well as wet and dry aircraft lessor.

Martin Louw joined Comair in July 1996, after 22 years in the SAAF. He has served in various positions in Flight Operations as a pilot, Training Captain, Fleet Captain, Chief Pilot and Director Flight Operations since 2001.
His current position as Director Operations puts him in charge of Pilots, Cabin Crew, Ops Control, Catering and Airports.

Wrenelle Stander has over 25-years of work experience in the aviation and energy industries, of which over 15 years have been at executive leadership level.
In November 2018, she joined Comair Limited as the Executive Director: Airline Business Unit, running the airline assets: British Airways, as part of a licence agreement, and kulula.com, South Africa’s first low-fare airline. Effective 31 July 2019, Wrenelle assumed the role of Joint CEO at Comair.
Before joining Comair, she held several positions within the Sasol Limited Group including: Senior Vice President: Corporate Affairs and Managing Director: Sasol Gas.
Wrenelle has also held a range of executive leadership positions in the civil aviation industry:
- Managing Director: Air Traffic and Navigation Services Company.
- Deputy Chief Executive Officer: South African Civil Aviation Authority.
- Chief Director: Aviation and Maritime Regulation.
Wrenelle has extensive Board experience and serves as an Executive Director on the Comair Limited Board (JSE: COM), as a non-Executive Director for the Sishen Iron Ore Company Pty Limited, as well as Christel House, a Cape Town based NGO working with impoverished children.

Kirsten King is a financial director for Comair Limited. She is responsible for the strategic financial management of the entire financial department at Comair which operates British Airways in southern Africa and kulula.com.
King was first introduced to the company when she was the appointed manager in charge of the external audit of Comair in 2009 and 2010. She then joined Comair as the revenue accountant in February 2011. During her time with Comair she has gained substantial exposure to the challenges facing the industry, and has competently managed the accounting function within the group.
Prior to joining Comair, King started out as a trainee accountant at PKF and over a few years worked her way up to audit manager.

Executive Manager - Commercial Distribution
Iain Meaker has over 20 years experience in the travel industry, working across a number of travel sectors, including transportation, the inbound travel sector, wholesale travel, retail travel, e-commerce, marketing and general managerial functions.
Since 2006, he has worked on launching the Comair Travel business, and in 2008 was promoted to Executive Manager of Comair Travel. He was appointed to Executive Manager of Commercial Distribution in April 2013.
