Johannesburg – Friday 28 November 2008. Comair has informed that talks between Comair and global distribution content provider Amadeus remain unresolved. The deadline for resolution has been extended until 31 December 2008.
Says Iain Meaker, Comair’s Executive Manager: Distribution, “There are still a couple of unresolved issues that we would like to iron out and finding mutual ground is taking longer than expected.”

- Due to global economic pressures Comair began reviewing its costs and found Amadeus’ to be the highest in the industrys
- Should the two parties fail to reach a resolution, Comair will reduce its inventory on Amadeus to premium content only and has contingency measures in place to assist all affected travel agents
